Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. The majority of her childhood listening to classic music, boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic songs and classic classical music. Ana is an avid fan of tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas and any form drama. After singing with her mom, she started more serious training in singing at 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. While a young student and professional, she sang with various chamber groups as well as opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and performs Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. Ana is involved in a variety of local organizations in both teaching and performer because of her enthusiasm for music and arts. Ana was also a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently a teacher in the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for being able to share her love and enthusiasm for the traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to impart a desire, especially among younger generations to keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
