Elizabeth Gillies, an American actor, singer and songwriter. She is most well-known for her role as Lucy in musical 13 and Jade West, in Nickelodeon's Victorious. Her professional journey began as a commercial actress. In 2007 she made her debut on television with The Black Donnellys. She was Jade West from 2010-13 in the Nickelodeon show Victorious. Her main character was for the FX comedy show Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll (2015-16). Elizabeth Egan Gillies is a New Jersey native, born on July 26, 1993. Her family lives in Haworth. The performance she made in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere was rewarded with a Critics Choice Movie Awards nomination for the Best New Performer award in 2010. The year after, she was recognized by her performance as the lead in the sci-fi thriller Super 8, which won the Spotlight Award in the Hollywood Festival of the Dead. She then played the title character in the comedies We Bought a Zoo (2011) and Ginger & Rosa (2012) and also the part as the princess Aurora in the film of fantasy Maleficent (2014) and Maleficent Mistress of Evil (2019).
